About our Product

OuterLite^® Chess is the only practical solution available today for giant outdoor chess play. There is nothing else like it anywhere. Our exclusive patented design provides for a large scale 3-dimensional game piece that will conveniently collapse for ease of carrying and storage. The radial flat panels are held open by use of a slotted base piece which detaches for use as a checker piece providing two games in one!

You can also play without the checker piece by use of a Velcro strip.

Other giant chess sets available on the market today, of similar scale, are solid in design which make them cumbersome to transport and take up a lot of space to store when not using them. A collapsed OuterLite^® set takes up no more space than a large suitcase would. With a king piece that stands at 36", that is quite a benefit for those with limited storage space.

If you are not that interested in checkers, OuterLite^® Chess can be played without the base/checker piece. A Velcro®strip is used to hold the panel pieces open instead of requiring the base for that purpose. This would also allow for a separate game of checkers going while playing chess simultaneously.
